Description :

The idea of establishing a Foundation was born from the will of the Quebec Order of Dentists to affirm the social commitment of the profession. The Foundation could then set up activities for, among others, to communicate prevention messages and reach people outside of dental offices. The College of Dentists of Quebec is one of the few colleges to have established a foundation.

On 1 April 1996, the Foundation has the legal status of the charity. It then developed its own organizational structure to better achieve its mission, namely:

Promote the benefits of good oral health among Quebecers.

Educating the public for the prevention of oral diseases.

Support research on oral health.

To promote interest and advancement of dentistry by awarding scholarships.
